About Saurabh Bhatt

Being born in a family where music and culture has been flowing for more than ten generations , the music genes in saurabh have blossomed at a very early age . Being the youngest son of india’s legendary musician , the grammy – award winner padmashree pt. vishwa mohan bhatt , saurabh has had an intense training in indian classical music and plays the mohan veena with such grit and guts which even impresses his guru .
Saurabh possesses instinctive knowledge of the various beats [ taal ] and creates such fabulous patterns which have baffled musicians twice his age , but again responding to his natural talent , saurabh has taken up full time composing . Being rooted so deeply in soulful music , saurabh’s compositions are like a breath of fresh air in today’s music scenario which is full of ear-smashing techno –trash , mindless remixes and cheap lyrics . music flows in his blood and he is a natural composer .
It is to be noted that at the age of 21, magnasound signed him as a composer and realesed his first album ' kaisa yeh jadoo ' , which has come as the most melodious & soulful album of recent times . The album is garnering rave reviews not only by the connoisseurs but has also aptly caught up the imagination of the common listener .
It is rare to find a composer of such a young age getting the kind of response saurabh has been getting.

Saurabh's first compositional imaginations took to wings under the divine guidance bestowed upon him by his mentor , the one and only pt. vishwa mohan bhatt . saurabh assisted his guru in several prestigious projects such as music for relaxation , meghdootam , geet - govindam , music for soul and celebration of love. recently he has scored music for a short film.
Saurabh has directed 300 musicians together in a live concert of ‘the art of living’

Already being hailed as a trendsetter composer , saurabh’s compositions remind the listeners of the ever so fresh tunes of pancham da [ r. d. burman ] and saurabh has vowed to bring back the sheer melody in the compositions and revive the very indian touch in them.
He also has the unique distinction of being the youngest music composer for the title music and background scores of the serials kavita for star plus, karam for sab t.v. , kalire for dd metro kamal for Zee T.v. and Kahin To Hoga for star plus which are produced by Ekta Kapoor’s , Balaji Telefilms which is the top most banner in the electronic media today.
He has a collection of over 800 compositions to his credit all that which belies his age .
Saurabh works in his own recording studio ‘swarnidhi’ where he creates his music. he is also a sound engineer and records his music himself.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

1. Performed on mohan – Veena with his father in honour of queen elizabeth ii ’s historic visit to India.
2. Performed at agra with his father for the indo – Pak summit in honour of general pervez musharraf.
3. Also given several performances in india and abroad (Bangladesh , Singapore Etc.) with his father.
4. Has directed 300 musicians together in a live concert of ‘the art of living’
